A college education has become a necessity in today’s civilization. Students all over the country are concentrating on their academics and are attempting to receive perfect grades. Many students struggle with tuition fees and are forced to find financial aid. Think of it this way, what if you were working hard to support you and your family and you had to pay for your education, would you want to do it? If student’s pay for their own education then they have to put more efforts in doing job to pay their tuitions. By this their grades are getting lower and lower as time passes during their education. Thus, many students, teachers, and people wonder if free college tuition should be granted. A four-year degree has basically replaced the high school diploma as the necessary preparation for a career in this modern economy. Introduction This essay aims to show that if alcohol is legal, cannabis should be also. To do so I will compare the effects both substances have on the health of their users. I will then examine how much scientific evidence has been used when criminalizing marijuana and whether that evidence is still applicable today. My View of College Essay College is a place where you can learn new thing for your career and be successful along the time with your career. College and be a good place to get your studies for a career to attend to. College is not a very easy thing to go to, you have to first pick what college you can attend and has the skills for you and your career. College is not for everyone it takes a lot of time and a lot of patience to attend to, and a lot of money to have. Most of the carriers care for a college degree and most dont. Its important to have a college education even if you dont need it can come in handy for a better successful career. The one thing about college is about the professors some can understand and some can be harsh at times with the work. Professors like to give a lot of work so you can have more knowledge of the things you will need to pass the class, and use later on. Professors are not alike as people say they are sometimes they can be mingy and some can be real recline with you but professors would do the best they can for you to pass this class. I have some great professors that now how to teach the subject real good and very compassionate. I have one professor that tells us some really weird stuff that happens but that are truthful and can get your attention, and tells you things that you have never knew about and can help you in college. Textbooks are one of the worst things about college, and one of them is wasting a lot of money on books you never use at all. Some professors like to ask for a lot of books to use but most of the times you dont end up using this books at all, and end up losing about 300 dollars. I had to buy eight books last semester and I only used three out of the eight I was assigned to buy. I wasted about 400 dollars on books and only used three books and ended up losing about 250 dollars on books never used on. Textbooks can be very useful if you buy then as a result of buying them they can help you later on, on your carrier and have a good idea of what is going on. I recommend you to buy your books because you never know when they will be needing it. On my time of school I like to go play baseball on Sunday with some of my friends. I work on sports academy when Im not in school. I hang out a lot with my friends and family when Im off work or school. I go and talk to other coach is about my baseball career, and try to look for school to continue my career in playing baseball. I like to take outdoor adventures and explore new things that most people havent done while my times off school and work. I attend to college, and I pay for my college education until I get offer by a school to continue my career. I like to go to college because it makes me feel like I can succeed also feel better in my carrier. Essay Question An Inspector Calls Produce an empathic response to character and themes in An Inspector Calls basing your response on role-play activities, which demonstrates your understanding of the historical, cultural and social contexts in the play.  An Inspector Calls was written post- World War Two around 1945. It is set in 1912, just before World War One started.  In the stage production, the play is introduced with some 1940s dressed children entering the play from a hatch in the visible part of the stage. The stage is strangely curled downwards towards the left of the stage, and a telephone box with smashed windows is leaning inwards towards it. There is a 1940s radio on the right, which a young boy kicks until is begins churning out wartime music. A siren begins ringing, the children run underneath the curtain and the curtain lifts. On stage is a house on a street, with a street lamp and a smaller version of the house towards the back of the stage. The sky is dark and cloudy, and it is raining. An old woman, Edna the maid, sits near the house on a small chair. The family sit inside the house.  The Inspector first enters the play from the auditorium in a ghostly and sinister way and is almost on the stage before the audience register his presence. He enters almost as if he has come from elsewhere, in an eerie and almost Christ-like way. He hands the boy an orange and the boy runs off. This may signify the irony that the play was written in the mid 1940s (WW2) and set in 1912(WW1), and the scarcity of oranges at both of these times. The family are sat in the small house, eating and drinking merrily. The family are having a celebratory dinner due to Sheila Birlings engagement to Gerald Croft. The Inspector makes his presence known and speaks to Arthur Birling first, informing him of a young girls successful suicide attempt.  Id like some information, if you dont mind, Mr Birling. Two hours ago a young woman died in the Infirmary. Shed been taken there this afternoon because shes swallowed a lot of strong disinfectant.  The Inspector shows Arthur a photograph, and Arthur remembers the victim, one of his ex-employees, Eva Smith. Arthur sacked her, as she wanted a pay rise. They wanted the rates raised so they could average twenty-five shillings a week. I refused, of course. This passage shows how Arthur has a greedy and selfish side, greed being one of the main themes in the play. Sheila is next to be interrogated by the Inspector. The Inspector tells her that after she got sacked by Mr Birling, Eva went for a job at Milwards, one of Sheilas favourite clothes shops. She was taken on in a shop-and a good shop too- Milwards. He shows Shelia a photograph of Eva and she sobs. Sheila lost Eva her job at Milwards which helped lead to the suicide. I caught sight of her smiling at the assistant, and I was furious with her. I went to the manager at Milwards and I told him that if they didnt get rid of that girl, Id never go near the place again and Id persuade Mother to close our account with them. Eva was discharged immediately. These passages show how Sheila was greedy and made Milwards discard Eva Smith in order to keep her account. It shows how Sheila was jealous and greedy. The Inspector next talks to Sheilas fianc Gerald Croft. Eva Smith apparently changed her name to Daisy Renton, and this name Gerald recognises. Now she had to try something else. So first she changed her name to Daisy Renton.   What? exclaims Gerald. It turns out Gerald had an affair with Eva, which lasted many months until they broke up in the first week of September. Eric was greedy when he stole the money and when he did not stand by Eva.  Greed plays a major role in the play, as it is the root of all of the Birlings mistakes and is categorised as one of the plays many themes, along with responsibility, good and evil, and collective responsibility. Eva Smith is seen as a generic character, representing all such people from her social class and especially women in her position, for instance oppressed workers, or women into prostitution. There are many Eva Smiths. There are also parallels between Eva and the Everyman character from an early 16th century morality play. This character personifies dispute between good and evil- themes in An Inspector Calls. She also has parallels with Eve from the Bible- greed was the original sin from the beginning of time and was the beginning of Evas problems.  Eric, particularly, is not very responsible when he becomes the father of Evas baby, and with his drinking habits. He steals money from his father, which shows extreme measures of irresponsibility. When Gerald goes with Eva he is acting irresponsibly as he is due to marry Sheila. Another key theme in An Inspector Calls is collective responsibility.
